Project overview
Max Design was appointed as the design and planning consultant for a 20MW Waste to Energy Facility to Immingham. The amount of energy created from the facility would provide electricity to over 10,000 homes.
The new build project comprised of two identical RDF incineration lines and their ancillary equipment all housed within a new building that accepts over 320,000 tonnes of waste per year to generate 20MW of electricity for export to the local distribution network.
Thermal Energy recovered from the RDF plant would be available for export to industrial and commercial facilities in the area for heating.
