Max Design worked with the developer for the conversion of the Grade II former pewter building to 19 residential apartments. Liaison took place to ensure that key features of the pewter building and historic features formed part of the redevelopment character.
Works were completed in 2010 and were highly commended at the LABC built-in quality awards. Phase 2 of the project involved a modern designed extension to the development for mixed-use development and incorporated sustainable features such as a green roof, solar thermal hot water and whole house heat recovery units.
