Our staff are qualified in conservation design and the sensitive design process in listed buildings and can guide clients through all aspects of the process.

Permitted Development Applications

Permitted development rights derive from the Town and Country Act to allow for certain development and extensions to buildings without the need through going through the full planning process. Our team can assess the requirements for a PD application and submit applications for the project.

Building Regulations Applications

Max Design can prepare and submit building regulations specifications and drawings for your projects including liaising with the building control authority to receive the necessary technical approval.

Detailed Construction Drawings

Our team can prepare technical detail drawings specific to the bespoke projects. Detail drawings are typically interfaced drawings that demonstrate the junctions and complex fixings of different materials for the contractor to build effectively. The detailed construction drawings work alongside the general arrangement drawings also provided by ourselves.

Energy Consultancy

Energy conservation and incorporation of sustainable materials and use of renewable technology for heating, cooling and powering of buildings is an important factor in the design process and Max Design can provide consultancy from the advice of solar gain to energy performance assessments of existing and proposed buildings to ensure the projects are best utilised to face the challenges of reducing the carbon footprint of development.

Measured Building Surveys

Utilising the latest technology and digital methods to ensure an accurate record of the buildings our team can offer services for measured building surveys which include Floor Plans, External Elevations, Sections and topographical surveys in 2D drawing format and also more detailed 3D modelling and Point Cloud Data. We can also provide PAS 128 utility mapping for more site analysis.

Land Registry Lease Compliant Plans

Our team can prepare to provide land and lease compliant plans which comply with the Land Registry guidelines. Our services can include carrying out the initial measured building surveys and boundary measurements to the production of lease complaint plans. Our clients include individual householders through to large scale Asset Management companies and PRS landlords.

Contract Administration

Max Design can provide contract administration service to effectively manage and project successfully on site. Our role would include preparing contract information and managing, processing and reviewing the tender process and coordinating regular meetings on site.

Max Design can assist with planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating the health and safety of the project including identifying and eliminating ant risk and compiling, reviewing, update and revising projects Health and Safety files.
